Being busy on the computer and watching small niece made up most of today!

Annnnd I have happy news!!! Dixie does not have to be put down! The vet called and said she is getting more perky, and he convened with the other vets to see if they could figure out her problem. They are going to do another test for a particular ailment and will let us know the outcome.

very thankful today :)

A $2 DVD on wedding portrait secrets :) Not a whole lot of new things, but the photographer has a great attitude and British accent. It's fun to watch at any rate!

Dixie tested positive for Addison's disease, which is basically an adrenal malfunction when an animal is under stress. The brain doesn't communicate properly with the adrenals to regulate the output of cortisol, which leads to various side effects, many of which Dixie was having. She has to be on a bit of medicine for the rest of her life, and get a monthly injection. Like owner, like dog?? I have to take a thyroid medicine for my hypothyroidism :) Looking forward to a normal life for me dog!
